With the Dual RDB, ART presents a crazy-useful studio tool. This Reamp DI box can take a clean vocal or guitar track and re-send it through effects processors, pedals and amps before re-recording, giving you the freedom to experiment with the sound and setup without having to play in the same chords or sing the same vocal line.
The ART Dual RDB
Take a recorded track from your DAW, send it through the Dual RDB before looping it through some external effects to add some reverb, compression or delay to the vocals. Stick a guitar track through some chorus, a tremolo or a wah pedal, or even send it though a different amplifier to gain a different sound.
While you could do the same thing using the inputs and outputs of an audio interface, it can only output line-signals, while the vocal and guitar effects you want to use will need a microphone or instrument signal. What the ART Dual RDB does is ensure optimal conversion, making sure that the microphone signal is flawlessly delivered as a line signal.
Inputs & Output
This reamp box comes fitted with two sets of jack and XLR inputs and two sets of jack and XLR outputs. The XLR microphone outputs are both transformer isolated and balanced to guarantee no interference while the 6.3mm jack line and instrument outputs are also balanced.

Aangezien dit een passieve reamper is gebruik je best balanced line input ipv unbalanced. Reden is omdat de output anders te laag is in vergelijking met een echte gitaar/microfoon. (je verliest meer dan 20 db tussen input/output met passive reampers zoals deze dus wil je je input level zo hoog mogelijk krijgen om dat verlies wat goed te maken)
Vind hem OK voor zijn prijs. Iets meer detail op de instrument output zou mooi geweest zijn, maar zeker bruikbaar. De mic level output daarintegen is beter, mooi zuiver signaal zoals het hoort.
Je krijgt 2 kanalen, dus zeker zijn geld waard als je mij vraagt.

Op zich niet verkeerd, maar deze box zorgt wel voor een behoorlijke drop in volume.
Ik kon een beter resultaat krijgen door gewoon de line-out te gebruiken.
